The Evil Professor is the advisor of the Dark Lord, who only has desire of knowledge. He was the one who invented corruption magic and put them all over the Kingdom of Darkness. For whatever he has done, he demanded to be given wisdom and knowledge from Obscurus. Time went on, Rannatos gained his trust on the Dark Lord. He thought the Dark Lord now is just under his control, but he didn't know that all the knowledge Obscurus had given him were all lies, enough to made him think he could be smarter than the Dark Lord.
