Glugrgly is the king of the Morloc species. As humans developed their oceanic invasion activities, Mugrgly, Glugrgly's younger brother, formed an alliance with the Atlantis to fight the humans. However, Gluggly objected and suggested that the Morlocs stay out of the war. Mugggly was angry because he thought Gluggly was weak and feeble, so he challenged the Morlocs to regain the throne from his brother. The fight broke out between two brothers. Although Glugrgly could easily win the match, Glugrgly ended up losing due to his mercy for his brother, being thrown into the abyss at the bottom of the ocean in the near-death situation. Muggly ascended the throne and declared war on the humans. After the rise of the Kraken, the Morloc legion was decimated and forced to retreat to the Faraway Sea. In the darkest moment, Glugrgly returned from the bottom of the abyss. The truth is Glugrgly was saved by Adrian while he was venturing to the deep abyss to find the trident. However, Muggly continued to protest and refused to return the throne. Gluggly challenged Muggly to a rematch. This time Glugrgly won easily, but instead of killing his brother, Glugrgly spared his life. Muggly regretted his mistake, so he voluntarily followed his brother. Gluggly claimed the throne and convinced the Morlocs to join forces with the humans and Atlantis to fight the Kraken.
