Each Formation has 05 different Hero slots. Players need to have at least 05 Heroes in order to unlock basic game features like Campaign (PvE) and Arena (PvP).
Formation stats are very important, as they help players to devise a good tactic to have the upper hand in the battle.

There are 4 basic line-up. Frontline Heroes receive bonus HP and Backline Heroes receive bonus Attack.

Preset[]
Players can save their favored line-ups as Preset and quickly choose them in Campaign, Battleground and Arena.
There are 3 Formation Preset for each Formation Type. and each Preset has 4 Formations. Players can change stats of all these. Read more about Formation Rework here.
Companion Buff[]
Having Heroes from the same Faction on the line-up grants the whole team Stat bonuses. The more Heroes from the same Faction on the team, the more bonuses the whole team receives.

Formation Rework[]
Formation Rework is a feature that allows players to alter formation stats to best suit their Heroes.
Besides the basic buffs such as increase ATK and HP, the formation stats can be changed by using ASG and Gaia Shard.
There are two options in the "Change Formation Stats" interface.
- Change stats randomly: Choose a position and click "Change" to receive a random new stat. This requires a certain amount of Gaia Shard.
- Change stats intentionally: Choose the position players want to change stats. Choose a specific buff and click “Change”. This requires ASG and Gaia Shard.

Gaia Shards can be used to change the bonus stat of a Hero slot.
Note:
- Changes are only applied to the currently used preset
- Gaia Shards can be acquired in the Black Market using Battleground Coin or ASG.
